“Like diamonds in the sky.” Rihanna might have sang it, but this house embodies it. How did this A-Frame house come to be on a hillside surrounded by Waikiki and Diamond Head? It began with a vision from famed architects Wimberly and Cook in 1956. Their desire was to create a unique home with strong Hawaiian materials of lava rock, large wood beams, and glass, with a design to capture the tropical ocean breezes off one of the most gorgeous coasts in the world. The result is a one-of-a kind place….
Welcome to The Diamond House.
